We have been swapping out many of our past clients who have Mikrokopter flight boards on their Hexa & Octo’s with this newer superior Hoverfly Flight board.
WHY SWITCH ?? The main difference is the fact Mikrokopter BL- ESC get “HOT” during flight, we have all tried different methods to prevent them from in flight failure, but it happens. Heavy Lifter OCTO’s & HEXA, need bigger motors with bigger ESC.
There is NO LIMIT on the motor size, or ESC size with a Hoverfly Flight Board. George at HoverFly tec has tested 14 to 15 inch props on a multi rotor lifting over 20 pounds. This will allow you to use bigger AXI motors without fear of weight restrictions or over heating a ESC. All will work.

Future software feature sets, including GPS Slew, Waypoint Navigation, Ground Control Station (and more), will expand the versatility of the system.
